hello thai-fandom
It all started with my friend, Lexa, recommending me to watch a movie entitled "A Crazy Little Thing Called Love". While watching the trailer she linked at my facebook wall, I was laughing by myself. Those cuts and little dialogues made me nod while watching it. Want to know why? Better watch the trailer, and I'm sure you'll end up watching the movie.
Thanks to the lead actor, Mario Maurer, who led me to watch another movie of him. His movie, The Love of Siam was a great hit in Thailand as well as in other countries like Singapore. The movie also gained lots of awards even at our very own Cinemanila Festival. Mario won the Best Actor award on Cinemanila 2008. I even wondered if he won the award, was he in our country to receive the award? I was first into Mario (because of the ACLTCL movie), but then my attention was caught by his co-actor in TLOS movie, Witwisit Hironwongkul. Not because of his character in the movie (a-not-so-out-gay character) but because of his lovely voice. Thanks to the song Gan Lae Gan (Together) that made me love Phcy (his nickname) and the August Band. credits: jeanpaulr@youtube Thanks to the English subtitle that made me understand that song. Aside from the nice melody and the addition of the saxophone, the lyrics is really nice. It made me think that composers are one of the best lovers in the world. They could create a song when there is an inspiration. And inspiration comes from experience. Whoa!! And so I started searching Pchy at youtube. And this video made me love him more. credits: SuefromTAIWAN Such a lovely voice. And the story goes on.... Members were already new, I think 2 were already out and another 2 were addition to the band. I've already watched all August Band music videos and even their fancams. I even like some members from them aside from Pchy. Non was like the humor of the group. I love Ong's voice and how Nine plays saxophone. I really hope I could see them perform live. (gawd, mom, please send me to Thailand). credits: wikipedia, youtube accounts, posted by: kitkat ♥
